Just when I thought a D9 was big, the D11 just blows it right out of the water.

Pullpan....

Am I seeing things, or does that D11 have 5 ripper shanks on the ripper beam. It actually looks factory made.

This is how we do 5 shanks on the West Coast.:usa

Running an 11.

Hi, Deere9670.
The angles/lines of sight are pretty similar to a D8R. It's just that 'cos everything's bigger on the '11, there is so much more space between the places you can see. Or, to put it another way, the same sight-blocking components on a D11, any D11, just block out that much more than a D8L, N or R. You get used to it fairly quickly, at least partly because they usually send D11's to play in bigger paddocks than D8's sometimes get to play in.

Then some clown might send you to run a D11R with a 25 foot by 10 foot coal blade. When you first get on the little jigger, you may feel that most of Los Angeles could be in front of that blade and you wouldn't be able to see it.
LOL.

Hope this helps.

running an 11 isnt much different than running any other dozer in my opinion. A carry dozer can be a relearning experience for a few minutes if you haven't been on one for a while. We have mainly rec blades on our 11's and when ever I have to get on one with a carry blade it takes a couple passes to get used to it again.
