For a good reference on how long the hood will be when finished, the end of it will be about where the center of the wing window is now in the above photo.
No LED lights on rear, had a box of about 40 good used take out sealed beams. I really don't like LED's, in the winter time those lights become pretty worthless
in a major snow/ice storm because they don't create any heat and freeze over, people can't see them. For every action there is a direct and opposite reaction.

Fifthwheel is on, tail lights & electrical, air system finished at axles and air line stubs run to the front. Flaps and hangers are on just need to install outside tires/wheels.
Picked up the fuel tanks and frame mounts today, clean and paint mounts and straps/polish the tanks which are 80 gallon. Plus mount the quarter fenders, photos coming.

Yeah those are all take offs including steer tires, just not going to put new rubber on a rig that will be lucky to see 2,500 miles while I own it. Yes the engine will set in first
then the gear box and drive lines. Then the cab, I have to build clutch linkage and install steering column which I have to design once cab is on. There is a aluminum diamond plate cover the runs from the
tail lights to fifthwheel that covers the rear frame and polished diamond plate will cover the rest of the
frame from cab back to fifthwheel.

Kinda curious as to the cut off sitting in the back row?

That's is what is left of one of our 2011 Coronado's that was wrecked over four years ago. The transmission is in the tow truck and the engine Series 60 14L is one I
rebuilt and was installed in a glider.

No I just had the crossmembers formed along with a 12"x2" lip 90* for flanges. I cut, fitted and drilled all pieces myself, every part and piece was designed on paper before
I ordered the frame rail and every part and piece fit. Measure three times then cut and drill. I have been making crossmembers like that for years.
