Those old Macks look to be only a very slightly condition than the one we "restored" at the quarry several years ago!

I know I have mentioned it before but thought posting a couple pictures here in the part of the thread would tie in with the ones up in New England.

Only have two pictures of that one, no "Before's" or "In process" that is a real shame as it would have made an interesting story to detail the project in words and pictures!

KS I am from Washington those Macks are in Brewster WA. We had a granddaughter make her appearance over here in Massachusetts. We were mining in Colorado and decided that our furniture hadn't been for a ride for awhile. So that is how I came to be, somewhere that I was not...

I think you could drive one of those chain drive Macks until you needed a kidney transplant… Then it was time to head home.

Not sure on that one, I'm thinking Cle Elum area because there was so much old stuff around there I lost track of most of it. But mostly old Italians, and Check's and a few that were Polish.

Across the highway from Zacs east of the Cottage there were (probably still are) 2 brothers that owned that gas station beside and behind is where this truck is. They were polish I believe. I think the station was just one of businesses. I had the impression they were loggers as well this property was heavily posted about 7 ways from Sunday. I did what I could do for images. They have a boatload of really cool iron whoever it belongs to.

I'm in love. Besides the featured Mack I see a log arch behind an old crawler that I can not ID from this picture. I also see a pull grader and a gas Caterpillar in the picture. AH, More adult toys.
LOL It is all that and more! It is treasure trove of cool stuff I have a few more images I will put up... unfortunately I have a penchant for always trying to create something a person can frame. Sometimes I am in “art” gear not record it cause it is cool gear. I’ll post what I have of that place.

I googled this property this morning before I left. My mind must be getting geographically foggy by about a half mile It is actually just east of the Twin Pines drive in. The trucks appear to still be there, it is still posted they have positioned 3 trailers to block the highway. Some of this may be due to the fact that a small lake mysteriously appeared there LOL. The D8 and the log arch appear to have moved on.
