621B Neck Crack

We own multiple 621Bs and we have developed crack in one of our units from one our hands being foolish. We have a pretty accomplished fabrication shop, but being a cast piece I am worried about the repairs on cast iron. Is it better to just find a used neck or is this repairable with welding?

It's cast steel, a competent welder should be able to 100% weld it successfully.
