Hi, I "inherited" a 862 with a manual transmission and it appears the manual shifter in the cab has gone bad. This unit might have been converted or retrofitted to a manual analog shifter since there is no control box between the cab and the transmission, or this is a really early serial number unit. The shifter looks to be a rotary switch (jd part #AT105927 no longer available) and it is connected directly to the transmission solenoids. Anybody know if the information below is correct as far as gear/solenoid sequence? Anybody succefully repaired these shifters?
