I have disconnected the orange wire (pin 6) inside the horse power limiter board as to bypass the limit switches (if the problem was the switches the machine would have run at full speed, it did not). Then I removed the red wire (pin 10) and jumped it to the white wire (pin 1) as to bypass the horse power limiter board (if the problem was the limiter electrical board itself then the machine would have run at full speed, it did not)
the RPM of the engine is increasing when I step on the foot pedal. this could have potentially been another issue as the drive motor will not allow full speed if the engine is under load such as going up a hill.
I have been all over this unit and im at a loss as to what is causing the issue. I bench tested the low speed high speed switch itself and according to the manual the continuity paths are functioning correctly on the switch indicating the switch itself is ok.
there just seems to be so many factors that can result in the machine not operating at full speed, im probably missing one and that's the cause of my problem, im just not sure where to head next.
