My old 66 had twins from day one. At night you appreciated them. If I had that one I might even add
a whole other set just below the lights that are there, Just to bug people:D.

My old '74 had the big singles with the "eyebrow" markers, a nice set of Hella replacement halogens lit things up quite nicely, Ahem... I'm not sure if the bulbs I used were exactly legal. Brick walls with holes burnt through them comes to mind.

Buddy of mine managed to get Aviation lamps for his high beam (KW 2 lamp sets). Was fine until a cop was nearly flash blinded by them where his handgun butt did them in and the ticket for improper devices written.

Something about five times the candle power and a damn near straight beam.

My current large service truck is an ex UP railroad hi rail truck with a pair of those as rear headlights they used when doing high speed reverse moves on the rails (ten speed that will travel fast in reverse high range) they work really well on high beam tailgaters.

Have to love remembering the day of working across fenders under Gull Wing hoods. Used to own a LOT of fender covers, mats, blankets you name it to keep from scratching them OR Me!

And the '58, Torsion ride, ZOWIE!
