Just wondering if possible to have a site for Welding repairs to heavy equipment .

That would be cool. Guys who take pride could show off a bit. It would also be a great place to post up recommended practices, what rod, what heat, what filler, all the fun stuff no one ever wants to share.

I'm kinda liking the idea, or I just slip back over to the weldingweb. Not much of a pic poster myself, but I do quite a bit of heavy equipment welding, most of it is really boring stuff... Gouge... weld... gouge... weld... Repeat.

I have noticed that's an issue right now. Been talking with a WW member and have him snooping around over here, he likes the place. No idea if he will register yet.

Hobbytime posted what he found out up above in "Shop talk". Appears most of Pentons servers went down for some strange reason yet undisclosed.

It would be neat to have a welding forum on HEF.
Simply because there is a huge amount of experienced welders here that are heavy equipment orientated.
Shop Floor Talk is alive and well.
I have gotten a lot of help there through the years.
