Well the 379 is not done, but it will be real soon. The lowboy was delivered in Jan. and the LTL got finished soon after. The LTL has been an absolute dream come true and a dream ride. We powered the 3406C up to about 600hp and with new Bostrom seats, I also cut the sleeper opening much bigger to get the seat all the way back, air ride, and the 13 speed, it's been awesome. The trailer was built with an 18' deck making it as short as possible to work with the 212" LTL tractor and it's been getting in some tight areas. The lowboy is also air ride and the ride is really nice. The whole plan all along was to get a 315 with a blade on the smallest trailer possible and it's a good fit. The 379 project has received some major changes. I cut off the rear frame and we (my master welder from Chile lol) fitted a 2016 Peterbilt cut off frame with Paccar low air ride. I set the wheelbase at 252", so yes I stretched it back out to allow for a pusher axle one day and it looks much better. Building a shop for the Pete now. It should be in the new "shop" sometime this week. It's a shipping container "shop" that will allow for a full on dedicated shop with room to work and lay everything out.... Finally. not having a sufficient shop has been tough. I still haven't given up but have wanted to.

A couple more. If all goes well I'll have these trucks forever. All pre 2000 except for the 6NZ I put in the 379.

The LTL is looking sharp. 359 is coming along too. That lowboy looks pretty slick for smaller stuff. I'm curious to see what you do with the seacans.

Thanks! Well the lock pin is a pain to release. So detaching has been frustrating. They say I need to grind the hole bigger. I figured it would loosen up but not yet. I've probably only detached 10 times so far and that's usually only if it's raining or un level. I've been using the rear beavertail everyday mainly. They have the psi really low to raise the lock pin but full psi to lower the pin. Sales reps words there. Makes no sense to me. Otherwise it's been great. I did have the stinger settle and rake my rear fenders but only cosmetic damage. Should have done the walk around. Hope to be putting 8' toolboxes on the neck deck soon.

Seacans? Took me a minute to realize what you were talking about. Tomorrow we're going to put the roof on I hope. Poured the slab Saturday.

Wow, things are looking really good. Your pictures almost look like toy trucks, and I mean that as a compliment. They look surreal.

Thanks for the update.

Mine was a little tight when new. I found that if I set it down and retracted pin before lowering it till loose. Didn't take to long for it to work correctly. Grease on the end of pin helps to. I work in a lot of soft and uneven ground and have never had trouble getting it picked back up.

Trucks are looking great! Any fresh pics of the container shop? I need to build something similar off the side of my barn for the dump truck I just picked up.

Nice FD!

How's the 315FL? I haven't tried one out yet, they look like the perfect sized machine for a lot of what we do.
