I still need to sit down with Geoffs widow (Jean) and go through her archives and see if I can sort a few things out.Maybe this spring/summer.I need to do a road trip to the Island anyways...

Hi again and sorry for delay in getting back.
Had a most enlightening and informational talk for over an hour earlier today with Art Bowbrick from Sayward who has #7, a crewcab that he's been rebuilding for some time now.
He is a veritable wealth of information and would welcome any phone calls from anyone who would like to know more about Grizzly trucks and their history.
Pete Cahill's truck was #3 and ended up in Port Alberni he says, if that's any help.
He knows who got most of the trucks originally and where they were used and/or ended up so if you'd like, give him a call. He's in the phone-book so I won't post his number here and I specifically asked him if he minded if I gave his name and number and he was most welcome to the idea so call him.
Ask him about what he's done on his truck too, as it's quite extensive with a lot of panels that rusted badly replaced with SS.
Rust was not friendly to the Grizzly it seems. He also knows a lot about some of the problems encountered along the way during the construction, the type of frames used on various units and a lot of that stuff.
Can't recommend him enough.
Anyway, all the best with your projects going forward and if you get this way in Mid-August or thereabouts give me a call and I'll take you rowing for Tyee in the Tyee Pool.
