That's a sweet D6D LC, congrats!

Love to find a nice dozer like that to keep our dump pushed off.

I didn't know they made it in LGP, learn something new everyday.:D

It has been a while but it has been busy busy!

These are a few older pics from before Christmas. Had to repair a slab and surrounding asphalt at a gas station we frequent. The sand around the tanks settled and the slab stated to sag as well as the asphlat so we had to redo the one end.

A few more. This is a 4 acre clearing job with a house demo on it. There was 62 tons of wood debris, 60 -70 tons of brick and about 100 tons of concrete on this. The brick and concrete are estimates as the loads were not scaled.

The last 2 are from a little pipe job. I have pics of the pipe but they are on my phone.

I don't think it tried to float but can't say for sure. The guy that runs the gas station made sure the tank was full before we removed the concrete.

Neat to see how they do things in other places. They back fill underground tanks here with pea stone. Usually by a stone slinger or concrete conveyor truck.

The pipe job on a golf course?

Around here they use mason sand to backfill around tanks. I don't think there is a stone slinger within a 100 miles of us. Don't know why, there are jobs we could use them on.

Yes that is a golf course we were on.

All I use now to back fill is stone chips or pea gravel. Pretty much stops the settling problems, and doesn't flow away like sand does.

Had 3 lots to clear this week. One was easy, two were a pain with a ton of tree canopy that you can't disturb. I did find something interesting in a palm tree. It is a 50 cal. (that according to people who know) is from WWII. They would fly over and and use the area as a practice range.

I saw the hole in the palm tree and did a little digging and heard metal tinking. There's another one on the lot next to the one I did and will take a look at that one when clear it.

That's pretty cool LC. One day I'd love to have my own 50 cal.:)

A friend of mine has a 50bmg. Quite a novel device. Take a wad of $5 out of your wallet and say bang as you drop each one on the table. The gun is the cheapest part of the deal.

Yes that is an expensive toy to play with for sure. I think it is like $2.00 per round for my 500.

Been super busy at work and not to much time for pics but did get some this Week. We are screening 20-25000 yards of dirt. The stuff is wet and sticky and were having trouble getting it through the trommel so we are using a Powerscreen Warrior, Once we got the right screens in, it started producing pretty good. As you can see there are a few roots in the stuffscreen 003.jpg screen 004.jpg screen 005.jpg screen 003.jpg screen 004.jpg screen 005.jpg screen 003.jpg
