My first thought is to blow out the coolers. The. Check to be sure the belt is in good shape and not slipping. 45 minutes is too long for the thermostat to be stuck or water pump out.

This machine has two elec fans. They won't come on. Didn't know if he has a bad sensor or even what to ck first. Good water circulation

s70 fans are ignition powered as far i knew if they arent turning you have an issue

fans should come on when he key is turned on,
start by checking your fuses and relays, then check for power at the fan harness connector.

i believe the fan relay is on top of the engine tied off to the harness.

they were that way on the 463, i'm not sure about the S70

I can tell you how the 2 fuses got blown on my s 70. I was using the machine one snowy day to clear sidewalks .I shut the machine down and walked away . Went to use it the next day it would over heat . Sure enough fan fuses blown .Now realizing that the fans run all the time . Got back in the machine next morning and fired it up . The fans were not working .Sure enough fuses blown again . What I found out just by luck was when i shut the machine off In snowing conditions , the snow would melt through the rad and freeze on the fan blades . You can figure out the rest . Crappy design .

And other test you can do it is run the engine at low idle and check the temperature without working the machine if the temperature do not increse may be the radiator is dyrty, other problens its posible to be happen but this is the comon and the first that you can check

I had the same problem afew weeks ago, the fan fuse had popped out and stopped the electric fans from cooling. did you also notice that once you stopped the engine it wont start up again.

easy way to notice the fuse has came loose is that on start up when you turn the key a notch to the right for the electrics you should here the fans start up, if they dont then its the fuse for them that just needs popping back i, with mine working on rough ground alot it was coming out regularly so i just taped it in.
