I sure wish some of y'awl had the chance to meet Mr. Finley Hays from Chehalis, WA. He told me he topped and rigged over a thousand trees in his day, and I have no doubt that he did.

Look him up in the next life. He'll be glad to meet you, I'm sure.

On post 296 of the steam donkey, with a drum as big as pictured that might have been for use on an incline as the tracks are far too steep for any locomotive.
