Here are a few pics from work today.

View from a camp we did the site work for this year. Built the road last year. Almost 2000' long.

Gravel delivery to a private club boathouse construction, pic looking up the lake.

Big boys leaf blower.

Nice pics, I like the fall colors in the one. That is some leaf blower. Why do you need to blow the leaves off a gravel road?

My guess would be to regrade road before winter, some of the towns around here have blowers on their 1 ton's to blow the leaves off the roads and out of the diches before winter.

Yeah, been through Keene Valley many times. You're a lucky man to live and make a living there...That scenery across rt. 73 is something to see, with the cascading waterfalls down over the cliffs and stuff, man what a nice area.

I never know when I'm going to be where, until the day before I get the orders. Next time I haul something from Cat in Clifton Park up that way, I'll holler. I was just up there for something recently, can't remember for the life of me why though. I was in Bolton Landing with a 330D, and oh, I remember, North Creek with a portable screening plant to a contractor with a gravel pit up there.(Slight brain freeze.) :drinkup

It's definitly a beautiful place to live, and to be able to work 50+ hrs a week and never leave town is a great deal. Seriously though if you are headed this way, let me know I'd love to get together and shoot the breeze:drinkup

Steve,
Yup, that's a JL-601 Farmi winch, it seems to be a really rugged unit. I have only had it about 2 weeks. When I bought the machine it came with a front mount snowblower, and I didnt want a front mount because they tie up the whole machine, I want to be able to use the bucket or winch/chipper... so I traded even with a guy and ran down to MA for the weekend to my sisters place and dropped off the blower and picked up the winch. I hooked up with the guy over at TBN, good ole forums!!! I have an AnBo grapple and a WR long electro hydraulic kit waiting for me at a farm machinery place nearby, I have to drop her off there for a couple days. I'll post some pics of it when I get it back. Then with the winch, the grapple and the 8" chipper she'll be ready to cut some wood this winter:thumbsup

That leaf blower would make a great fire pile starter, too. Got a pile 'o brush you wanna touch off? Just get a little corner started, and when it's going a little, just turn that chute towards it and watch 'er take off! It's a bellows on steroids.:drinkup

Those are some pretty hounds there. Labs are great. What is that skidder, a Tree Farmer or a Timberjack, I can't quite tell...? I'm leaning towards Timberjack, but somebody painted it and threw me off.

I forget what the wind speed is, but I think its like 160 MPH, that much wind out of that 8" chute is an impressive machine. We worked a good share of the week blowing the roads we take care of, before this machine it was almost a month, that was with 3 or 4 guys and backpack blowers.

Labs are definitly great, they have a blast together. Thats acutally a C-5 Tree Farmer, it has been painted to the dark green from that hidious lime green they came with. It has a 3-53 powerplant, Dad says you can hear me comin' for a long ways!!

In all honesty I was thinking Tree Farmer, but my brain kept persuading my fingers to type Timberjack. I was thinking it was a C-6. Definitely a screamer!
