Excellent work

had one of these beasts work for us through some contractor in 2004 quite the beast of a machine if i remember correctly

I have really enjoyed this thread. I have a few pieces I have saved myself. ITS pretty sad here in Mississippi between the gypsy scrappers and the meth heads old iron is getting scarce. I have seen some of Skadills pics on youtube great stuff. I would love to come up that way one day and hook up with you fellers and check some of that iron in that part of the world out . I collect old white and Internationals and have a bunch of old construction iron that we still make a living with. My hats off to you fellers . If you see a scrapper ''PUT ONE IN HIS BRAIN'' I WONT TELL!

I always get p****d off when i see the windows smashed out of old gear.
think more kids need the rules i got growing up

if it ain't yours don't touch it....
if you do touch it
I'll kick you in the arse so hard the wax in your ears will pop out....
then you'll hear next time when i say
if it ain't yours, don't touch it

I heard some loggers on the 2 way radio today talking about what equipment they are going to leave in the woods over winter, and what they are going to bring to the yard.

"Don't leave the fuel wagon out there or somebody will shoot a hole in it"

camptramp Time to get everybody together and save the old "Skidder" at Copper Canyon. Still enough guys around to do it and still enough interest I think Where could we take her? Caycuse and set her up! Cant you just hear those supercharged Cummins Engines from your house? Remember IT ALL STARTS WHEN TWO PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IT LOL

Somewhere in all my worldly stuff, I have a couple of old Loggers' Handbooks with ads and photos of yarders/skidders with twin Cummins engines. This may have been a regular production machine, and not an oddball contraption. Would love to see it restored.
