I actually saw the same piece on a TB016 featured on Machinery Planet.
Looking through the Takeuchi site,they don't show that view.I'll have to check some others.

Danny, did you make your thumb out of mild or hardened steel?

The jaw itself I cut from 50W.....Its still considered a mild steel though:drinkup......and its still working great.......no problems
