What 'told' you the coupling was bad?

RobVG, On shut down, just before the crankshaft stopped turning there was what I would call backlash and it would have a metalic sound just as the engine came to a stop. Seen this before on a different model AKERMAN in the past.The rubber insulators started to fail.

You got it Tom, it's a very distinct sound. Once you've heard it, you never forget that sound.

Hi tom was wondering about your liqued nitrogen. Just talked to my local welding shop and they told me it will not stay liqued very long. How long can you let the tank sit? Nice work

Our liquid nitrogen tank lasts about a week depending on the temp. It only cost us about $50 to get it filled at the local gas supply co.

Jason, I use liquid co2 to make dry ice, I have had tanks in stock for many months without any problems. The liquid nitrogen is constantly bleeding off, more so with higher ambient temperatures.
