So... lately we have seen some new cat iron... the 349, new dozers, new rock trucks... buggies. How about Wheel Loaders?
Can't really comment on the machine till specs come out, but it looks alright. I like the new cab, with the open design and joystick steering. They ought to call this the 966I or J because it looks nothing like the H series machines.
Is that front window glass curved? I just hate the fancy glass seeing how it always gets broke. Any glass with a curve is a long wait and big dollars.
The had better have a optional guard for the front of that cab.
With the aftertreatment devices (DPFs) necessary to meet Tier 4 Interim, they're all getting big in the rear end. Guess everybody is going to get some practice backing up via television screen.
I think most are building their T4i solutions about the same size as they expect the T4F to be. Cat says they are. Seems like I've heard others (Deere at least) say the same, but it all starts to run together after a few days in Vegas . . .
I would prefer some high since that keeps guys from ramming counterweights into things.
