towing 15,000 with f-350

I know a cdl is required with this weight, but how many people tow about 15,000? and do you have any pictures of your loads and how it sits on the trailer and truck?

I haul my dozer D-31 on a tandem dually trailer with a pintle ring. I beefed up my receiver :tong

I have a 99 F-350 4x4 drw, I did upgrade the wheels and tires to 19.5...the load capacity of the tires are like 5200 lbs. double of what the stock tires are

main thing is load distribution and having good brakes on the trailer

i tow a 580 super e on a 30 ft. goose neck with 10,000 lb duels with a 2008 f250 sd and have no real trouble . but pulling is one thing stopping is anouther,need good brakes on both axles of trailer.

pull a hudson gooseneck behind a F-450. Load it with a jd 50 zts and a newholland ls180. She's heavy but pulls and stops great.

i hauled my first hoe a cat 307b for years behind a 2000 powerstroke with drw and 4:10's. it is possible, is it my favorite thing to do? no. even hauled with a 1 ton pwerstoke with 3:73"s and srw. no... not fun. but yes it is possible

This little bugger is deceptively heavy. Its a "custom" 5 horse trailer normally goes behind a bus conversion motorhome but due to its $1.3M worth of unreliability my trusty 2000 F-350 saves the day often. trailer weighs around 21,000 to 24,000 fully loaded and pulls surprisingly well for what a flipping monster it is.

No weight distribution bars being used in any of these shots. Just the factory receiver hitch with a 24K rated 2 5/16" ball and ball mount.

Maintenance is the key if your going to be performing these stunts regularly. NOTHING is questionable when preforming these acts. Brakes, suspension, tires, steering all have to be top notch at all times.

Thats a nice horse trailer though I surprised you tow it with the factory hitch. I know guys bending HD Reeae ETC hitches that pull heavy. That might because most of then are using weight distribution bars. They sure put a lot of TQ on hitches.

Its not my horse trailer, personally a black skinned livestock trailer is about the dumbest thing i could think to build. Especially since theres just about $1M worth of show horses in there. It carrys most of its weight on the axles so most of the work is strait draw bar pull. probably only 4K pin weight MAX.

My own personal opinion is if you need weight distribution bars you should have bought a gooseneck.

lol if you did that around here you wouldnt make it 2 blocks, I got pulled over in my mack dump truck pulling a cement mixer because one of the safety chains fell off.
