Peterbilt Lowbed tractor

Took some pictures a few weeks ago of our friend from D&X Welding.Fabbing up truck ramps on a brand new Peterbilt 367 heading to the Bay Area to its owner.

i like a bit of a smoother arch to the ramps myself...like this KW

Tonka I think it might be the angle of the picture it does looks a little steep.heres a few more angle doesnt look as steep last one is of the truck I drive.The one you posted does have a nice curve to it.I have never had a problem with the angle,now having the neck fall or being crooked..well thats another story

LOL yeah on the old narrow neck Crapzad i used to pull, the neck was a (Bad Word) to line up right, and the neck would fall sometimes... Yeah i think it was the angle of the pic, i also like a smooth rail from top to bottom, so the rollers don't bind up when backing under a loaded trailer... Look's good though don't get me wrong....

No this was a truck the Peterbilt dealer down here sold to there customer.

Yes it has a wet kit we have a few other trailers that we pull that need hydraulics.A couple of the other trucks have the tank split from the factory when they were ordered way nicer,but this one was spec'd by the dealer that it was bought from .

yeah if a dealer is going to spec a truck like this, they don't like to order split tanks because the dealer can make more $$$$ putting on the wet kit themselfs. Also if it don't need a wet kit they don't have to add the cost of the split tank...

Sorry, I am not familiar with a "split tank". The wet kits I have seen usually have a plastic or sometimes steel tank behind the cab. Keep in mind I work on off highway equipment and I am still an apprentice. Therefore, my truck experience is limited to whatever I see on the highway or when a unit gets picked up or dropped off.

Split tank is a stock looking Peterbilt fuel tank with a welded divider in it to hold hyd oil. 3/4 of the 100gal tank is used for fuel and the other 1/4 of the tank is used for the hyd oil.

Its plasma we use the same guy to cut our stuff.Yeah he did them a while back the driver came in from Malcolm the other day so I snapped a pic.
