On the 009s there is a heat exchanger for the twin disk torque converter. Does anyone have the specs on that heat exchanger? According to the book it's a young type 604 but I need the internal specs.
Thanks

What heat exchangers did Wheeler Equipment use on their gravel yarder rebuilds?
Thank you for the information. On the wheeler yarders, are you talking about saurmans like 158 and 208? Those don't have heat exchangers according to the work I have done on those.

Sad to see manufacturing of the Madill line of Logging Equipment leave British Columbia Canada . I am sincerely happy to see the Madill Brand carried on in New Zealand by Loggers that appreciate a good product . Best wishes on a successful venture .

They're still going to be produced in Canada.

144 - 88025 again - the second last built

This machine have been here 2 times before, but since it for some reason still looks like new I think it deserves a couple of more pictures! Still parked outside Port Alberni.

Please feel free now to complete this mini 143 - 144 series, I know that Lemare probably have 4 or 5 144's working, and it is at least 2 working for WFP in the Gold River area. It's 19 total built of the 144's and 7 of the 143's.

Trakloader you probably know which machines was in QC and what happened to them? Murk100?

I know one of the 144 was salvaged after a fire, I don't know if this was 88013 or another one.
Little did all of you know your photos would be helping me make 3d models for a game so far down the road you all are making this happen I couldn’t do it without out all the amazing pictures a big thanks form some random fan from Maine in the states I did not make all of this machines we have a small but very dedicated team of amazing people that all make it happen my latest project is a rework of the current 7280c model we have and the Madill 144 as you will see in my next set of pictures we have a lot of machines and many more to come

Logging Simulator 2026? Looks interesting! I'm not much of a gamer but played Farm Sim a little when I had that kind of time until it got repetitive.

Recently on our 009 our Drag line (Main Line) spool shaft snapped, we then got a new shaft made and put it all back together. The problem now is that when we pull, there is a vibration coming from the spool. Any ideas what that maybe coming from. There were shims in the bearing housing holding the spool, put those all back where they were.

Because I'm a poor (quality) hobby machinist, it sounds like something I might have done. Usually I'm not in tolerances or, just not true, for multiple reasons. I'm curious now, please give us an update when you resolve the problem.

Any gears pressed on? They damaged in any way or sometime else get damaged from shock load. Someone who knows those machine better might have a better idea.
