I need a battery for the loader and trying to figure out what battery goes in it. Rite now, I do not have a battery in the loader at all. What is a good battery?

The best at a respectable price will be from the cat dealer, just bring your serial number. If you just need it to start, is it 12v or 24V? then anything that fits, like a group 31 post if the terminals are good, or threaded posts if you need to replace the terminals. If you have bolt on terminals, they need to be replaced.

Seeing as how Cat quit making 933s in 1968 need a serial number.
And the early ones used 6 volt batteries.

Agreed the original post is kind of ambiguous in it’s description.
The battery guide kinda lead me astray where it called for a 6 volt battery which is what the 933C traxcavator used.

95 933 loader battery isn't off the mark that much. I think when people open a thread they sometimes forget what the heading said.
Yes I understand that but when you try to something up in SIS the model year is usually of no help, at least a S/N prefix will give you a good starting point.

A serial number is always the best but there was a 933 (C) model in 1995. Perhaps if the C was mentioned would have avoided the confusion.

You still looking for that battery?o_O
Yes,lol. I'm in the process of trying to do a head gasket to it. Just took the head off today. Took a break when it got cold. And started on another project last summer.
