Yanmar Vi20-track adjustment

I'm out of town working, don't have my manual with me
Doing service last night. I've added grease but never let some out
Removed the grease fitting nothing happened. Is it the big nut that you loosen?
Was getting dark so I walked away. My big equipment like a 9/16" wrench
