hello folks-
Guess I broke protocol by not introducing myself first. I guess I can say I've been in the business all my life, starting out at the Deere CE dealer in DFW for nearly a decade and moving over to be OEM factory rep which allowed me to go and see things that feed me inner need to dig in the dirt. After several years I was presents with an opportunity that lead me to another factory rep job still in construction but not on the dirt side of the business. I love all aspects of the business; sales, support, parts everything. I'm here to listen and learn but help instruct and guide where and when appropriate.

Hosemaker

Hi, I'm Guy from the UK, I work in for a hydraulics company making hoses amongst other stuff, hence the name...

I have joined to see if we can help you guys who own old Poclain diggers etc, as we have NOS Poclain hose ends in stock...

We can sell just the ends or we could make up hoses to description/sample and ship worldwide...

I hope that this is an acceptable first post?

Cheers

Guy

I found the site because I am trying to convert the auxiliary hydraulics on a Case cx130 to bi-directional. Installed a hydraulic thumb to find out the auxiliary pump was single acting.
Looking for guidance on what I need to change and where to purchase it.
Hobbies are archery hunting and waterfowl hunting. Daughter turned twelve this year and has been a hunting and trapping machine.
Thanks in advance to all!

Thank you for the super quick reply. I compared the schematics of a single direction pump and bidirectional pump. With a couple fitting changes, a new pump and electric switch it might be doable.

Hi, all. I‘m from China. I work in Roto parts since my graduate in 2011. We're a big family with about 150 staffs here. We specialize in Undercarriage Parts and Excavator Buckets. We are here to help those who deals in these business or the truck owners. You don't need to pay a lot in your local place. We guarantee you would get the same quality but lower price.
Thanks.

Hi:
In the past I started as an engine builder at a Detroit Diesel Shop. That led to heavy trucks and equipment. I was a field mechanic and welder for the Alaska Pipeline and in SE AK logging camps. Then on to repairing fishing and tug boats.

Because of physical issue I have been demoted to an office. For the past 5 years I have been writing environmental permits for the Alaska DOY&PF for road construction projects.

I enjoy the site and check in on a daily basis.

PaulfromFL I have ran heavy equipment since I was around 15 when my uncle taught me how to run a Bucyrus erie 22B. That was along time ago. I don't operate as much as I used to, the local economy hit us hard in the early 2000 and Ive been working a job since then. Still have the equipment and hoping to learn more from this site about some mechanical problems we are having.

Hi there,

I have been in the marine industry 30 years and decided to step a shore instead. I did some research on good paying/high demand jobs and decided to become a HD Mech. I took a 9 month foundations course a couple of years back and landed a job with a marine diesel repair shop. The shop liked my work ethics and signed me up as an apprentice. I have a long ways to go, but I like working on the diesel equipment.
There is a lot of similarities between marine applications and heavy equipment like hydraulics, diesel engines, air systems, and electrical systems. The pay is good and will only get better as my skills/education improve.
