Does anyone know the cylinder head torque specs for a volvo A40 with a td122kfe engine and where I might be able to find good used head or reman?

for td122 engine head torques
Position the bolts in the cylinder head and tighten them in four stages.
1st stage 50 Nm (37 lbf ft), 2nd stage 150 Nm (111 lbf ft), 3rd stage 190 Nm (140 lbf ft), 4th stage tighten through a further 60°. See tightening sequence, Fig.

as for a cylinder head we have a couple of good used ones here in the uk, but I think carriage across the pond may kill it for you, contact me at simon@walker-plant.co.uk if you want more info
