Lets just say they are KC companies and leave it at that,One of the owners or employees could be on here and may not like their name mentioned.

you would think a nice shiney service truck like that one would have a hose press in it for such occasions!! (when the hoses get tore off by a operator) did they get the crane set up without any other problems?

Must be some money in cell phones,Nascar race coming to town the 1st week of Oct.So we have been helping put up 2 C.O.W.s. "Cell On Wheels" One is in the parking lot at a huge furniture store.

They have been trying to get a head start on them by bringing the top section of tower to our yard and hanging the antennas and coax.Getting the tower section there easy, After the antennas are on its a little tougher to haul back.

Changed the weight center. These are fine straight up but on its side was shaky and bouncy . I took city streets so I could keep my speed down.

Then the 40 ton had to come out and set it together .top was getting close to 90 feet.

LOL OK is it still a boom truck ??? Air conditioned cab and two lines....Outrigger span is as wide as a crane.Just saying .......It says "National Crane" right on it...

Another day at the soccer stadium, Was told its a little snug getting in there. They were right.

Some of the decking is down on one side. The outer part will get a translucent panel so the grass gets enough light to grow.

moon 014.jpg

The reason I'm there is to stick 60 feet of jib in a M 250 (300 ton machine)
That adds up to 300 feet of boom

In order to set the the bracket for to jib pendants I had to get close with the boom truck.Just too much stuff piled up,So it looked like this.

.
Threaded the outrigger through the boom....
.

.
Then they dug out the ramp I came in on , I'm thinking WTH and was told I would have to head out the tunnel.

As you can see its not a straight shot and was bad because of the stuff stacked.
A pickup would have been fine LOL

This last Wednesday wasn't too bad.200 ton Demag to the Batch plant at Iatan so it can be torn down. Then come back to the yard and load out a church steeple.

Cell site builder is putting this on a church . Cell antennas will be inside the steeple so no one can see them. I have seen them do this 3 times so far.Kinda cool.

Really strange though , loaded the pieces and stored them in side ummmmm these go on a roof...........Why do they store inside ?
