old bomag 210 wont back up

My old BoMag 210 has been working great. But now it will only back up if level or down hill. it still works as it should going forward. Im thinking by-pass in the hyd valve selector?? Going to try to look at it today. Any thoughts?

well it seems to be in the rear end. Drive shaft is turning. Hoping there is spider gears that may have broken inside.
