What always amazes me are the heavy lift copiers. The Russian Mi-26 can easily move the 955K. And supposedly Russia and China are working on a helicopter that'll lift 80,000 lbs... doesn't sound like much, but that's a lot of air to move!
Silly boy, those loads aren't suspended, they're dangling!And we are not suppose to ever work under a suspended load? Yet these guys might be flying overhead?
Looking really good there, I would be searching the yards and find the grill covers for the hardnose once you get time to protect that investment!
Evan ;Been working on aircraft and cars too long. Call me crazy but this is actually fun!

Tinkerer, Yeah, thats one of them. That one is actually a FW190 D13. Its a 1/4 scale model of an existing aircraft. The real one is one of 2 survivors of the D model that made it over here in '45 for eval. It languished in a farmer's backyard for many years before being found and restored. Its now on display at the Flying Heritage collection up in Seattle. Took 7 years to build that model as it was completely from scratch. Build pics on my website:Evan ;
Is that your FW190D9 that is your avatar ?
