jag E400 dead batteries

e400 batteries are shot. Is there a way to plug generator in to get boom in position so it can be towed. Don't want to spend a bunch of cheese on new batt. right now. just is used a few times a year.

You can try four truck batteries. Leave the originals in place for weight, wire the four to equal the voltage of the original eight? six volt batteries. It will usually work fine for a short use.
