Mechanics make roughly the same hourly wage as operators which in central pa is 32.66 on pipeline plus all the benefits which is around 52 total the main difference is that the mechanics usually get 16 an hour for there tools and fuel for there trucks with basically as many hours as they want on pipeline

I work for a railroad contractor out of Missouri. I am not even going to tell you what I make, you will laugh me right out of ths site!
The tweedy contractors used to have the UP contract in Missouri and southern ill. Ten years ago They offered me $8 per hr and $15 per diem to work operating a backhoe at the Piedmont mo area. and the guy your working for under bid them. So you probably qualify for food stamps.

I know this is an older posting.

Would it be possible if you could update the current Wages and Benoit Package of Local 14 and 15 of NYC?

Thank You

Joseph
