U-tube poster can read a service manual:confused: This video explaining adjusting injectors using 'base circle' method (Cummins' field engineer Fritz Engels started teaching base circle method early 70s 73-74). Base Circle method was used with non-top stop injectors by measuring injector plunger travel; required dial indicator. Manually rocking injector rocker 3~6 times to squeeze all diesel fuel out of the cone-sack (injector plunger taper-to-cup tapered surfaces)...ditto when adjusting with old torque method.
Adjusting correctly extends camshaft and cam roller life:)
