On view of rebuilt parts on cart.
Treadle valve left.
Power cluster middle.
Relay valve right.

Those were $540 out the door, rebuilt. The power cluster had to be sent out to be rebuilt, the other two were in stock. I don't remember individual prices. At Terminal Air Brake company here in Fresno. Treadle valve and relay are on eBay. Parts have numbers on them to make sure you get the right ones for your machine.

Edit: Power cluster didn't have any identifying numbers, the rebuilder recognized it from pictures.

I found a website that advertises (some) new, used, and re manufactured parts for this machine. The plate that keeps the lower articulation pin nut from backing off is listed in the used section, mine's missing. I sent a list for parts quote, supposed to hear back within a day.

http://www.partsun-ltd.com/terex-euclid-parts-used.asp?Start=900&End=919

This wasn't a good experience.

1) A retainer plate listed on the website by part number he said they scrapped.
2) Parts he initially said they had weren't there when they went to pull them.
3) A fair amount of the parts he did have there was going to be a delay because he was going to order them from Terex and mark them up, bushings went from $51 to $64 for example.
4) He wanted to sell me a very, very expensive option instead of a seal kit.
5) Gave me part numbers for bucket tooth and shank, and said they weren't available. There are several different buckets, all with different teeth. He didn't ask which bucket I have.
6) Even though I was disappointed they didn't have what I wanted after all, he wouldn't sell me the few pieces they did have because they couldn't be bothered with bits and pieces. And no I'm not gonna pay marked up prices on other stuff to get those.

The book that includes this serial number arrived. Middle pic is the page that tells which of the drawings is right for the serial number machine you have, the old book only had one option.

There's a broken plate in the first photo, one of the first things we noticed. Doesn't look like we can get it out of there to repair it. If I remember right it just holds a couple valve blocks.

I gathered some parts over the winter, I was up Monday gathering more information.

This is a block heater, it goes left side in front of the blower. That part didn’t get pressure washed, the fender wouldn’t let me get the wand in there. Kind of hard to access too.

Also have an ether start system to install, I took it up there and looked at what I need to do. I plan on putting the ether bottle mount inside the cab on the left. There was only one place to connect small tubing to the air intake hose, and it already had a line going to the air filter gauge. The blower has a 3/4” pipe plug left and right both, I plan on seeing if I can put it in there without interference. Got the fittings already.

I don’t have keys for the doors, I’m gonna see if I can modify it for this type of lock to work. With the old lock you could just undo the mounting screws, pull out the lock, and turn it with a screwdriver. This type has the screws on the inside of the door. I didn’t look at it good enough to see if it would work when I was up there, we’ll see. If not I can exchange them for the same type that was on there.

I went up to where it’s at Sunday, a few day storm ended the day before. I made a little progress. I found out the new door locks will work with some modification. Can’t go through both walls of the door, the lock mechanism is a flat piece that bolts to the inside. One hole would go right through moving parts, but if I make one more 1” hole, I can access to attach to the outer wall only. That’s how it is now with screws.

The blower fan is just inside the 3/4” pipe plug hole, I would have to add fittings to back up the injector and keep it from hitting the fan. Or maybe tee it into the filter gauge hose.

The heater fan does work, the wires were loose on the switch under the seat. I broke one of the terminals off the back of the switch when tightening it, need a new toggle now. The fan makes noise when changing speeds or stopping, otherwise it’s good.

I can pressure wash the part where the block heater goes from under the seat, some stiff hoses in the way though. Might clean it that way and swap it the other way.

Tried to jack up the back of the loader enough to get the rear axle pivot pin back in, it’s partially backed out. It would be all the way out if the counterweight wasn’t in the way. The jack didn’t move it enough, it pushed the log I had it on into the ground three inches. The ground is soft right now. Plus one rear tire is low, airing that up will help a lot. Couldn’t get the truck all the way to it right now, didn’t want to risk sliding off the sloped shelf road (driveway) in the snow. So I didn’t have power inverter or air, I walked the sixty feet or so in.

What I thought was the water outlet is the fuel pump, the part in this picture with blue and red fittings on it. I reviewed the diagram showing where the block heater goes, there’s a cut away indicating it is on the other side of the engine. I don’t know why they didn't just use a view of the other side. So now I remember, early on I had to fix the heater hose going to the air compressor. That is where the block heater goes. Next time up i’ll get a better look and see if I can access it without removing the sheet metal over the engine, it was already off when I worked on it before.

Also in this picture there’s a holder for the emergency stop made by the guy rebuilding the truck. I left a message with the Detroit dealer asking if they have it, if not i’ll make one.
