Considering either 1. sk755 or a 2. mini ex such as bobcat418 or takeuchi TB210R with a powered wheelbarrow to do ground prep. work for concrete patio and walkways for houses. Both methods cost the same but having the powered wheelbarrow has higher capacity for delivering concrete to the backyard.
The 1.mini skid bucket is alot less volume capacity, there many more trips back and forth, and more damage to landscape/grass. Concern with 2. mini ex, if it has enough power to dig clay since it is only rated at 10-13 hp. Any suggestions ?

We have a Ditch Witch sk750 (only 24.8hp) in rental. Very little damage to the turf with a good operator. We have the wide track (9inch). Machine is 42 inches wide with those tracks. Pound for pound, this machine is as strong as the big skids.

We recently bought a Deere 17G to complement our two Deere 27D minis. Demoed a Bobcat E20 and Takeuchi TB216. Deere was best price and faster cycle time over the Bobcat. Takeuchi was not zero tail swing.

If you are looking at the smallest possible, Takeuchi is the way to go in that size machine. See if you can demo one.

Just had a demo of the sk755 with 7" tracks total width is 36", good unit. The tak 216 is 15hp , 39" wide and much bigger size, I did demo it, quiet unit, but its size is limiting for squeezing between houses into back yards, but otherwise not bad.
