deere 70D excavator advice needed

I posted this question up in the excavator forum but nobody has any advise. i got to thinking about that and decided probably because it is a 1992 model, and that probably qualifies it for Old Iron. anyway does anyone here have any experience with a John Deere 70D Excavator? i have been looking for something for my ranch and have found a pretty nice one with about 6500 hours on it. Thanks
