Case 580M Hydraulic issues

This case 580M seems to have a hydraulic issue. The front bucket tilts just fine at idle. The lift cylinders are slow, at idle ,raising rpm makes it better. The lift cylinders are probably 3" id and the lift bucket cylinders about 3 1/2" id. A while back it blew the large output hose from the pump to the hydraulics and nothing worked at the time. The hose was replaced and seemed to work fine. So basically at lower rpm the bucket tilts just fine and the lift cylinders are slow. Weak pump, bypass, or what seems likely? Thank You!

After you replaced the hose and refilled the hydraulic tank how did you charge the system to get pump to pick up oil? Does the machine act worse when it warms up or is it about the same?

After checking all operations, the front bucket lifts slow at lower speeds, unless the engine is sped up and the rear the cylinder that works the main lift arm (the arm that gets locked when in transport position) lifts verrry slowww, and will not even get to the position to get locked for transport and it bleeds down in a few minutes. I am thinking multiple cylinder problems instead of pump weakness.

Well I hate to say it but it sounds like you've wiped out a pump. You need to have it checked with a flowmeter to make sure.

A flo test is in order, anything else is a guess, if the pump has failed it could have sent debris into the system damaging multiple cylinders, if properly done a flo test can pick up cylinder leakage easily with a trained and experienced technician. A simple T test can completely diagnose your system with only one hookup.

Also check your main relief valve there may be some trash from in it not letting it seat properly.
