I have an opportunity to get a deal on a nice 953 with 6200 hours on it, but the guy says (quote) "has problems steering on right side but everything else is in good shape.
WORSE CASE SCENARIO............. what might be wrong with it, and what could it cost to fix it, if it's done by a an outside shop or, someone who knows what he's doing? I will NOT take it to a Cat dealer and get screwed on labor!
The guy wants $12,000 for it, as-is.
HELP!!
