    Log in troubles

Why is it that everytime I go to log in I have to reset my password? This has happened the last three times I restarted my computor. This site is the only one that doesn't recognise my password. I go thru the motions and just use what I had before for a PW. This is becoming a real PIA. Any ideas???? Microsoft office 2007 wants to use a program to send an email using the "login problems" button and for "contact us" as well.

    Anyone else having this trouble?

What message do you get when you try to log in? As far as I know, vBulletin does not ask you to reset your password.

    Steve,
If I log out or if I restart my computor it is the same thing. I enter my password and then hit the button. It says Invalid password/username. Then starts the dreaded lockout countdown. I have had to do this a few times in the last month. When I do a restart, it soigns me out of all my sites/message boards. This site is the only one that will not take my password.

You must be clearing your cookies somehow when you reboot. What I'm not understanding is how you are resetting your password if your existing password has been rejected. You must be logged in to reset your password.

When you attempt to log in, what message do you see, exact wording please.

Today is the first time that my password was not rejected. When the sign in gets booted out, Iget to see a screen that starts the passwor reset. I enter my email address and then go thru the process of resetting my password. I enter my username and password that the board sends and then I reset it again.

I did sign out again today, and everything seems to be ok today.

When i signed out, I did get a message that all cookies are cleared.
