Ok, I've all but given up on this one, we've battled it now since I bought the skid steer used about 4 years ago, for some reason, its got an electrical problem, it drains the battery till dead, but only does it randomly, not all the time. It might not bother for weeks, then all of the sudden drain it every day for a few days, then back to normal again for maybe days, weeks or months, its totally random.

Things we've already done, pulled the alternator, at least 4 times now to have checked over, once it had a bad diode in it, so we swapped it out for a new one, no change in the battery killing, starter the same way, figured it had a bad place on the armature somewhere so we put a new one on, no difference. We've pulled the batteries now at least 6 times, every time they have tested good, but we've replaced them anyhow, no difference. We've put battery chargers on the cables overnight, many times to find a short or something left on, never have yet found anything wrong. My oldest son did find one problem we solved, my youngest son's cats would sit on the seat at night and seat switch would be activated kill the battery that way, since then we've left the cab door shut or in a shed that the cats can't get into, that helped but now its random, and we check every day to make sure the dash lights go out every night, in case the seat switch is sticking, which I had once on one of my other skid steers that killed the battery on that one till we figured it out.

I'm told its not in the computer in any way, several dealerships mechanics have told me this, I'm doubting it as of now, there has to be something somewhere drawing power and I can't find it, I've got no idea as to why its totally random, to me it makes no sense at all. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, and thanks in advance for any input.
