Don't know that I can top that pic Nige, pretty impressive.

I'm slightly lower in elevation. Had to take a road trip to the foot hills of the Smoky Mountains today to work on a T200 Bobcat that was dead out on a trail. You know you're out in the country when the fella taking you to where the machine is located is leading you down a US highway driving an ATV.

Driving up the trail to where machine is located back in a holler.

At least there's a good view of Wears Valley while driving up trail to machine. Even saw a white turkey while going up trail.

I'm not to sure on this statement, as it is not my favorite beer, but I was told this is the mountian that Coors Light uses on their cans. Picture was taken in Telluride, Colorado when we were working at the airport there.
The second picture is looking east towards Mt. Rainier, which just so IS the mountian featured on a can of vitiman "R"..still not my favorite though!

Try this one. Approximately the same elevation as the previous photo (11,000ft above sea level give or take) but a few hundred miles away. Note the distinct lack of vegetation. I just realised the reason I took the photo was that the moon was just starting to peek over the mountains in the background. And before anyone asks, yes the sky REALLY is that colour blue.

Okay, I have to admit this wasn't from MY office. There was however a dozer pushing dirt around just out of the picture off to the left and this would have been HIS office view. It's Trillium Lake with Mt Hood in the background this last fall.

Here's some I took while hauling a manlift off of Blackcomb mountain in 2003... That's Whistler village down below.

Here are a couple more. I never tire of the mountain scenery, even though walking and talking at the same time can often be a tad difficult.....the trucks in the LH picture are 793's BTW.
