    can you tow a 20 t tag along with a single axle carrying a pc 120 truck is rated for 33000lb NY city

    Fair question I would like to know also as I have the same machine and a friend of mine hauls it for me from time to time and I always wondered if it was legal.

    I'm not sure about NY bridge gap laws or seasonal restrictions but you should be fine as far as the weight. You should be able to get most of the weight on the trailer. The PC 120 should be around 12 metric tons (depending on how it's equiped) so you will be way under the payload of the trailer. Assuming your trailer deck is long enough you should be able to position the 120 so that just enough weight is on the tongue to maintaine stability while towing.
