Not too sure what the story is with this truck, the serial number badge says that it is a model 4640-S from 1963, but the hood says that she is a P10. I would be very curious to see what the permanent serial number on the frame says. More information and photos here: http://www.pacifictruckclub.org/RegD...p?SN=T6360-214

Tyyota Posting 65-- That is one of our old M&B trucks ex H139 a 1989 P16 pre-load Sold to Hayes Forest Services in 2003 rebuilt with a C15 Cat and had the 121 rear-ends installed then sold again in early 2008 after HFS exited Franklin River There was two of these trucks and ILP has the other one as a low-bed /log hauler For a Pacific they were pretty classy trucks

P16 pre-load #H17 was parted out and sold as residue at R/B Auction in chemainus IPL got the 5th Wheel assy but R/L got the rest This truck had the SPR rear diffs. For what they paid for her it was a steal due to the fact that a brake drum for an SPR rear end is now 2000 dollars EACH and about a month away and you pay the frieght Due to the lack of parts for these IPL is parting out one of the sister trucks to keep the others running Tough choice but what are the options

Hayesno1 Out of all the M&B trucks that were around I think that only 3 still carry their original Unit M&B numbers H89 -was originally a HDX Pre-load at Cameron Division surplused and went to Sawnigan Division where Walter Miles converted her to a conventional Sold some time in the early 90s Then there is H14 pictured above that came as unit # H140 then was discovered that there was already an H140 in M&B system so the choice was given to then driver Gary Cathers as to what # he would like and H14 came up so she is still H14 and of coarse then theres H17 Wont say anything more on that one LOL

E&A kept all the original unit numbers, H-43, 45, 46, 47, 54, 55, 152, and 289. The original E&A trucks were TL-1, etc. but when they took over QCD, they changed their own numbering system on the trucks to match the M&B system. Of course, other machinery changed to E&A's system, like the tank drill, N-66, became "DMT-5" (Drill, Mobile, Tank) The "M" graders became "KGR" something or another.. (KGR= ??? Katerpillar GRader?)

Thanks Trakloader Was not sure about your end of the claim or how things were designated up there after the Weyerheauser slaughter.
