    Heavy duty eh!

Hello to all, Just recently discovered this site, and I am glad to have done so, it is very interesting, I hope to be able to contribute from time to time,,Anyway a little about myself, i am in the near north part of Ontario Canada, and have been working on equipment for about 27 years, I worked for Volvo BM, on volvo BM 860, 861, 5350 5350B Haulers, 646, 6300 backhoes, 846, 1240, 1641, 4200-4600 Loaders, all 4000 series volvo BM 'B' loaders, When VME was formed in the mid 1980's I was very busy with the Volvo/Michigan L-70 through L-160's, also L-140 through L320 Clarke style Michigan Loaders, as well as all clarke loaders from 55iiiA up to 475C . Fiat allis and Allis Challmers Loaders and scrapers and dozers up to FD 50 (41)Size and also track loaders. Hitatchi excavators and shovels up to 1800 as welll as Euclid Haul trucks up to the R-190 size are what I worked lots on also. Of course I have lived through the entire evolution of Volvo with the L series B,C,D,E,and F loaders, also the Artics, B,C,D,and E Trucks. Not so much with the mini's and Compacts, but from what I have seen, thier aint much to them, Also, I am V-cads cetified, with Prosis NG and I am registered in the Volvo Master Guild as a Master level Tech.

    Welcome to the forum mcslamma.

Keep your eye out for Volvo questions, they do pop up here from time to time.
    A good mechanic isn't expensive, he's priceless!
