No Sir , I'm assuming your asking about the emergency repair job? A company named Pyramid is doing that one

Common sense is not common practice
Another bridge dealio, Hauling median barrier so they can tear down and repair 1/2 at a time but it's real narrow and they used the 13 foot barrier so that about kills a boom truck. So they used a Terex RT and it was a little to light for the job....And a green operator . It was slow.

Green operator I guess...he could have turned the lower around so workers wouldn't have crane engine and exhaust pipe blaring at them.
A good mechanic isn't expensive, he's priceless!

More Fun at work,Boss tells me to take a boom truck. Yes I know a boom truck ain't a craneBut I continue . boss said you are setting blocks.so with that I left.No big deal , just the average 3,800 lb concrete block that every concrete plant or sand plant on earth has .
The kick was two pipes about 8 inches in dia. One was a gravity live sewer line and the other is a pressurized sewer line from the hospital we are behind.
Used a National 27 ton boom truck and I don't care for Nationals,Never run one that the swing was good on.
Also had to wait on the guys digging,Wouldn't dig the hill out unless they had blocks ready to set.

Well Q sorta,This was the cheapest way they could figure to keep that pipe work in place and build a 14 foot wall for the garage.Plans are to back fill after the 14 foot garage wall is built and just cover them up....They would be permanent and a non factor then.

I have put in a few of these as permanant walls. They are pretty easy to do. Kind of like stacking LEGO blocks, but 4,000# each
