Here's what I saw at work the other day. http://s1029.photobucket.com/albums/...5-04144319.jpg I love my job!
I'd rather be in the air running a tower crane, but can't always be so PICKY.

Nice pics. I was out blading one day.....minding my own business....singing along with the radio.... and all of sudden the world started to shake. I got 'buzzed' by a Blue Angel!! They were scheduled to be in Fargo,ND ( about 40 miles away) the next day and this pilot was out for a little "pre-show" cruise. I stopped in the middle of the road and watched as he did a couple of loops and barrel rolls. It all happened so fast I didnt get any pics, but it sure was a nice show!

God shot's tiny! I love those Link-Belt Hylabs too. I'm running it's little brother, the 298HSL now. I did get that half twist out of the main load line too. http://s1029.photobucket.com/albums/...3DIMG_1487.jpg

Monday we took a 4100 Manitowoc to Lawrence Kansas . They are in the process of setting precast for a small Hydro electric station on the Kansas River .Its replacing the 1930s generator on the south side .

Put the tracks , house , and carbody together then walked in the hole . Built the rest of the machine after the ramp was filled in . Used a 5150 Grove to assist , built the boom on top and flew it in as one piece .

Had to go help tear down an asphalt plant that had been sitting since 1989 . Supposedly it's headed to South America . Hauled the 5150 Grove weights to start with then was requested to stick around to move the plant parts around so the over the roadies could pull them .

Several of the pieces settled in and the crane had to hook on and help me pull them thru the divots . Also was 106 degrees that day . Was hoping for a short day . These guys just keep going . Finally looked at the trucks and they were from Arizona . Made 12 hours .
