Small scraper/ pan info wanted
OK, first.
If I want something to pull behind my 85hp oliver.. is it a scraper or a pan?
Use-- I am building a 15 acre lake (not with this) I just want to move some top soil out, general dirt moving, etc.
Farm type use... not big jobs.
I was thinking of 3 to 6 yard size.
Will an 85hp pull a 6 yard pan?
I am in IL... we have good dirt. Not rocky crap.
Thanks

OH, BTW... where can I find these smaller pieces?

Here are some small scrapers on machinery trader says 80hp and up direct mount would be better if it was not a mfwd you may need to run a chain under your drawbar then connect to your three point arms and put a little tension on it so you dont bend your drawbar. I pulled a I900 ashland with a 130 hp mfwd last year working on my feedlot it worked but it shure was not boiling out the top.

That is what I was afraid of.
I screwed up. A guy had a 3 yard on craigslist for 1000. It was in pretty good shape. Ready to run. I should have bougth it.
There are some 6 yard pieces near here, good and decent condition, but I am afraid I do not have enough ass to pull them.
They want 3500 to 4500 for them.
I don't have a ton of dirt to move, and not far. More or less for leveling some small hills... put in driveway, etc.
