    case 580 super e gauge problem

    The gauges on my fathers case 580e backhoe quit working water temp, fuel and oil temp they all quit working at the same time where do I begin to look first! any help would be great

    i had a similar problem with my 580e. in my case it was where the main wiring harness plugs into the engine wire harness. it got really corroded and a few of the contacts went bad.

    see if theres a common ground for all the gauges, is it a cluster or seperate gauges?

    Yep,
    They should all be looped together by a 12 volt wire, check to make sure you have power to that wire.
    If not follow it back to it's source, probably you blew a fuse.
