    Parting out Fiat Allis 12GB

C'mon guys. With all these welders and handy guys on this forum, consider this ripper. Consider these humongous cylinders. I have considered making a wood processor out of the arms and cylinders and such. The ripper is like new. I can even deliver if you entice me a bit. Course you have to have...

    Rigging for a sea container

Glad it worked out. It is good when a tricky job is done and nobody got hurt and no equipment was damaged. Glenn

    Rigging for a sea container

If you pick it up with slings and travel with it, you should chain it to the rig and stretch out your boom so that it can't swing around.

    Parting out Fiat Allis 12GB

I have a Fiat Allis 12GB that I have started to part out because the engine burned a hole in a piston. So far engine, sprocket teeth, tracks are gone. Welding and cutting rods

Every tool has it's purpose, and the sorriest job in the world is the home handyman, he needs every tool in the store. The welder is the luckiest. There are a few basics, welder, torch, grinder, a few hand tools and you are ALMOST in business. Away from the shop, a pipefitters tri-legged stand...

Considering first dozer - Case 450

I have a Case 310 crawler loader and like it for lifting with the bucket only. Have worked firewood with it and it worked well in the woods. It works dirt poorly and forget doing a bulldozer type job. I have had it for a long time and it is easy to work on, I'll say that. But, I want a bulldozer...

    Old time Logging

During the early 60's I set chokers out in the Olympic peninsula in the last permanent camp. It was in the rain forest and it rained all the time. We walked on boardwalks in the camp with our corks on. The mess hall had everything to eat you could want. You grabbed a sack lunch on the way out...
