    Dozer rollover

Hey! We're moving on from rock crawling and RVing, I had a new shoulder joint installed two years ago and a new knee joint installed two months ago o_O. Sold the Jeep and trying to sell the coach.

    Dozer rollover

My brother in law bought my Komatsu D39P-1 and sent a truck with a steel deck to pick it up, I think it had a bobtail (forgot.) The driver backed the truck up into a raised area where I could load it. I backed the dozer up on the deck about one inch a minute, scared the crap out of me. I...

    Bobcat e42 vs e50

I have an E42 standard arm with the optional counterweight and I've always been pleasantly surprised at its lift capacity. There's a guy on YouTube (Kapper) with the same E42 and counterweight that has a lot of videos on the machine. His channel might be Kapper Outdoors but you should be able...

    John Deere 400G Dozer hours?

Stainless bolts. Was that a mistake?

SS and salt water - great combination . We had two different sailboats in salt water for over 10 years, the major issue was dissimilar metal corrosion. Specifically aluminum with SS fasteners, even with anti-seize the fasteners would still get frozen but heat always worked to break them...

    OUCH!

My RN wife had one job with an oncologist where one of her responsibilities was administering chemo. Tough job but it really got to her when the patients were children.

    Komat'su PC60-7 --Just Purchased Used--Some Questions

I bought my 1998 D39-P1 dozer at a decent price when we were in a depression and companies were selling off equipment. Used it for a couple of years, ran out of work for it so I sold it to my brother in law to use on his ranch. Didn't want to make much on the sale but I did wind up about +$2k...

I need a general purpose handyman

There's a Taco Cabana (fast food) in our small town that's had a help wanted sign on their billboard for $12 an hour - been there for 3 or 4 months. If you are breathing, you are qualified for most jobs around here.

    In the market...used excavator

My 2010 model year Deere tractor uses the John Deere 4024T diesel, when Tier IV started Deere went to the Yanmar engine in their compact tractors. Haven't noticed any complaint trend in the tractor forums about the Yanmar except accommodating regen.

    In the market...used excavator

The newer Bobcat mini-ex's use a Doosan engine - my 2019 E42 has one of those. I would have preferred the Kubota just because I'm more familiar with its track record but the Doosan seems okay. I had a little Yanmar 2QM15 engine in a sailboat and it was a faithful performer but maybe you know...

ZX85-USB-3 - How to add a rear view camera?

I added an aftermarket cam (rear and side) to my mini, just an add-on but it works well for me.

    In the market...used excavator

I've moved large live oak tree stumps with my E42 that my 66 HP tractor couldn't - not even close. I also prefer grading with the E42 over the box blade - you can't beat a blade and tracks. I can reach places with the hoe the tractor can't. However if I could only afford one piece of...

    In the market...used excavator

I bought my Bobcat E42 mini-ex after I figured out my Deere tractor couldn't dig trenches LOL. An excavator is mostly a one trick pony, having said that my E42 is quite useful when the tractor can't do a job.
