    Bobcat seat bar relay

Rob, I'm kinda surprised on not having a seat sensor. Mines a '99 753 and has one. Don't forget to trace wiring all the way back to it's two sources - the fuses underneath the Hydraulic Oil Filter on the rear right, and the relays above the battery/below the Air Filters on the left. 'Tuck same...

    763 Bobcat Fuel Pressure

Aww, cmon just leave the trash in the tank. :) Avoid too much pressure attempting to clean out with compressed air though. I once saw one of my juniors cleaning out a tank with the air compressor pressure 'maxed out. Fortunate for him, there was only a very small amount of vapor left in the...

    Grease fittings problems

I couldn't get grease to seep out of fittings, which is usually the rule of thumb for me that I've got enough in/wipe off the excess. When greasing my lift arms, found that the only close resemblance to grease was at the fitting. When I removed the pins, the grease had turned into a hard...

    763 Bobcat Fuel Pressure

Designed to be tight is a gimme. I successfully re-used the grommet afterwards on my 753. I'd was hesitant to use additional force but figured it was lesser of two evils... I also accepted/expected some of the fuel line/screen/debris to remain in the tank. I'd committed though to trashing the...

    Need info on bucket

Slop from side to side can be: 1) Lift Arms have spread outward. 2) Pins between the Lift Arms and Bucket have worn 3) Bucket "Holes" where the pins insert have 'wallered out. 4) The bolts positioned on the outside of the lift arms, that keep the pins in place have loosened.

    Bobcat 753 Traction lock problem

3 Traction Lock TS Ideas 1. Fuze Box. When you remove the correct fuze you'll see (or at least hear) the circuit engage/disengage. 2. Seat Sensor. Lift Cab, under right butt cheek. 3. Seat Bar Sensor. Male/female coupling may have come loose inside the left side of cab. The coupling...

    BC753 Bob-Tach Pin & Bushing Waller'd Out

Well, it's happened again (400 hrs later) & every time I'm operating I've ensured tightened. I'm assuming reaming the cantilever hole on the 'tach is what I'm left with. Any other suggestions before off to the Machine Shop would be appreciated.

    753 Pressure Switch Leak

Above and to the right of the screw on hydraulic cartridge filter and drip tray is a Male/Female electrical connection to (I think) the pressure switch. Had my son shut down in the middle of Running the Machine for roof / shingle repairs in our "Man Cage", when we moved down for another course...

    763 Bobcat Fuel Pressure

I had to unbolt & tilt the cab; trace the engine supply fuel line; remove that line (closest to the front of the machine); and: 1) Replace the engine supply fuel line (bulb to tank); blow out the 90 degree elbow it attaches to; reattach the supply fuel line; and install a new fuel line and...

    BC753 Bob-Tach Pin & Bushing Waller'd Out

While I was supervising the 14 yo, I noticed the bucket was becoming loose so pulled out the breaker bar to tighten and wasn't able to put any additional torque on the bolt because it had sheared off. So time to shut down and perform surgery.... -Detached the bucket. -Detached the hydraulic...
