No bucket tilt function on Bobcat 753

Everything looks connected and the pedal moves the linkages the same way that the left peddal does. I have a mechanic coming over later today and he'll verify this. Thanks!

No bucket tilt function on Bobcat 753

I like the idea of isolating the problem from the linkage. I found a diesel mechanic who is coming over next week and I will share the idea with him. He mainly works on trucks so I'm sure he'll be interested in any ideas you have. I read in another post about a similar issue that the problem...

No bucket tilt function on Bobcat 753

Thanks for the response. The wind, rain and snow finally let up so I was able to get out and take a closer look. I don't see any difference in how one pedal operates compared to the other. When it is running and I operate the right, tilt pedal I hear something, probably the pump make a faint...

No bucket tilt function on Bobcat 753

    Yes. Don't see anything unusual.

No bucket tilt function on Bobcat 753

I was using the Bobcat the other day and after hearing a "clunk" the grapple tilted down. I am unable to raise it. The right pedal does nothing. Any thoughts? I was detaching the grapple this morning, trying the right pedal just for the heck of it and once (and only once) when I pressed it down...

    Bobcat 753 Seat Sensor

Could someone please explain how the seat senor works? I replaced the seat and reinstalled the seat sensor the way it was (it was working) and now the light shows that it is not working. I will take things apart again tomorrow but it would help if I understood how this switch operates. The new...

Bobcat 753 won't move, lift or tilt

Right you are! Turns out a hammer I had stored next to the seat had become lodged under the seat keeping it from moving the seat interlock. Thanks!

Bobcat 753 won't move, lift or tilt

Good question. I'll try it tomorrow. I did notice that the seat green light on the bic panel is not on. In fact the only one that lights up is the lift bar. I'm going to investigate the seat and see if there is a broken wire or something getting in the way of the seat sensor.

Bobcat 753 won't move, lift or tilt

One day everything works great and the next you're dead in the water. My Bobcat won't move unless I press the "Traction Lock Bypass" button because the brake is stuck on. The lift arms jerk up and down an inch or two, same problem with the bucket tilt. I have a grapple attached and the front...

    Stuck...

Next to selling your boat, getting your equipment unstuck is the best feeling ever. Thanks for all the great advice! A neighbor was able to pull me out with his pickup and once I was on level ground the hydraulics and the brakes operated normally. My guess is that they stopped working due to the...

    Stuck...

My Bobcat 753 is stuck in the mud at about a 45 degree angle dipping down toward the front left. I think I can get it out tomorrow but the odd thing is that while trying to get it out the hydraulics to the arms and bucket stopped working, although came back on briefly. Also, I now have to push...

    Bobcat auxiliary hydraulic problem

Thanks for the advice! Sounds like sound advice. Now if it would stop snowing and the sun would come out I could try some of these suggestions. Meanwhile I'll just push the snow to the left. Many thanks! Bob

    Bobcat auxiliary hydraulic problem

I have a Bobcat 753 with a snow blade attached to the front. The auxiliary hydraulic controls the right and left blade positioning but it will only turn to the left. The light is on for the auxiliary and it turned to the left but is now stuck there. Trying to move the blade to the right does...

    Bobcat 753 fluid leak

I appreciate your advice. I'll open it up today and figure it out.

    Bobcat 753 fluid leak

I'm looking in my service manual. Are the spool seals you referred to the o-rings that are in the spool covers?

    Bobcat 753 fluid leak

I'm pretty sure I'm losing hydraulic fluid but need some ideas to locate the leak and fix it. First, I get a small amount of fluid dripping from a small rectangular hole on the bottom of the Bobcat. There are two of these holes, one on the left side of the vehicle and the other on the right but...

    Replace fuel pick up line

You were right! Many thanks to ATCOEQUEP for correctly diagnosing the fuel pick up line problem and to bobcatmechanic for the great directions on how to replace it. My wife and I drove the hour and a half to the nearest Bobcat dealer (between storms) for the parts and made the repair in the...

    Replace fuel pick up line

Who Me?! I can only hope that replacing the pick up line will be half the fun as reading the previous posts... Many thanks to bobcatmechanic for the description of how to go about this as well as the blood and guts caution. I'll let you know if this solves the problem. I was able to get the...

    Replace fuel pick up line

The part is finally in and this weekend I hope to install the fuel pick up line on my 753. I have ordered the service manual but it will take three weeks to arrive. Can anyone guide me a little on this job? Do you access the fuel tank by lifting the cab or ?
